Michał Heller – cosmologist, theologian and philosopher. Professor of philosophy, specialising in the philosophy of nature, physics, relativistic cosmology and the relationship between science and religion. Founder and former director o the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. He received the Order of the White Eagle, the highest Polish honour, as well as the 2008 Templeton Prize. Member of the Vatican Astronomical Observatory and the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. Author of more than 800 research articles and almost 80 books. Program Director of the Copernicus Festival.
